1. Our commitment

SmartCostSeg is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard only navigation, voice control, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought, and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a finished state.

2. The standard we work toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities. We test against them as we build and when we add new features, and we fix the barriers we find.

3. What we have done

The site is built with semantic HTML so assistive technology can read its structure. Interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard and show a visible focus state. Text and interface colors are chosen for sufficient contrast against their background. Meaningful images carry text alternatives. The layout adapts to small screens and to larger text sizes, and animation respects the system setting that asks for reduced motion.

4. Known limitations

Some parts of the service are still being improved. The study documents we generate are delivered as PDF files, and while we work to keep them readable, a given document may not yet be fully tagged for a screen reader. If you need the contents of a study, an estimate, or any page in a different accessible format, we will provide it. We would rather hear about a barrier than have you work around it.
